  • The verses are understandable but, the chorus is ignorant. Check out my blog about it http://www.GlennishaMorgan.com

Nas has knowledge. Anyone that listens to the song can understand the context of the use of the n word. Basically what he is saying is that it is used so randomly today that the meaning of the word and the pain of the word is evolving into something different. People do not take the word seriously because of their ignorance or disregard for the n word. He is questioning peoples’ motives and their identity of who we are as a people and placing a mirror up to African Americans and people of African descent. If we not respect our selves as a people than whites, asians, and every other people inbetween or outside of the array of the human race will not respect us. We as individuals have to teach people how to treat us, and at the end of the day we have no one to blame but the person looking back at us in the mirror.

    Peace and Blessings.

    I love it, absolutely brilliant

  • Honestly he’s speaking the truth and I have no problem with it. Everyone has a problem with black people but yet they still want to be like us..they worship us…
