“An accessory is merely a piece of iconography used to express individual identity.” – Project Runway
Name: Kash Howard
Occupation: Owner of Seven74 Accessory Boutique (Atlanta, GA)
Website/Address: www.seven74.com, 482 Edgewood Ave NE, Atlanta, GA. 30312, 404-524-1919
Clutch: Where did you get the inspiration for Seven74 boutique and the name?
Kash: I am such a girly girl! I dreamed of an accessory boutique featuring the hottest and most unique rings, necklaces, bracelets and handbags at truly affordable prices, there has been a void in the Atlanta market for years. The name of the boutique is derived from my birthday, as that date has proved to be special to me over and over again.
Clutch: What made you want to focus on accessories?
Kash: I absolutely adore accessories, the bigger the sparklier the better. Accessories can completely transform any outfit and change simplicity into glam.
Clutch: What’s new in the world of accessories?
Kash: I would have to say that accessories just like apparel styles constantly repeats itself. Right now we are seeing a lot of bold, lengthy and layered pieces and day/evening rules definitely do not apply to the modern girl anymore.
Clutch: What indie accessory designer has caught your eye?
Kash: FROME2U has beckoned my attention; she embraces hand made wood crafted earrings and bracelets with iconic images, which features heroic and historical individuals. What’s also great about her line is they are all one of a kind pieces www.frome2u.com.
