A Serial Killer Might Be Targeting Blacks in Maryland
Police in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C. say they are not out-ruling the possibility that there may be a serial killer who is apparently targeting Black mothers and their teenage daughters. On Monday night, Prince Georges County police found the bodies of mother and daughter, Deloris and Ebony Dewitt, burning in a stolen Nissan Maxima – one in the front seat and the other in the rear. Less than two months ago, and less than a mile away in another double-homicide, the bodies of mother and daughter, Karen and Karissa Lofton, were found shot dead in their Largo, Md., home. The area is close to FedEx Field, home of the Washington Redskins. “We don’t have any evidence that this is a serial killer,” said Maj.
