I’m not sure how many of you have read Steve Harvey’s book, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man: What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy, and Commitment, but there are some pretty insightful things mentioned in the book. One that stands out in my mind deals with why men cheat. In the book it says that one of the reasons men cheat is because there is always someone out there willing to cheat with them. This is so true, but I’ve never really thought about it this way. If you think about it this way women are a large part of the reason why other women get cheated on. Yes, it’s true that sometimes men go out looking for these events to happen, but we are the ones who allow it. Of course, there are other cases when women might not have known the full story, but we all have friends out there who are involved with married men or men they know are in relationships.
Let’s Discuss: Why do we continue to hurt each other like this? Have you been involved with a married man and continued to let it go on for years? Have you tried your best to break a relationship up and was MySpace or Facebook involved? Were you the one being cheated on? Clutchettes — share your experiences.
