This week’s Clutch Crush is actor Laz Alonso. We’re digging Laz for his kissable lips! This D.C., Afro-Cuban cutie got his start on the small screen on shows like “The Unit” and “The Practice.” An alumnus of Howard University, Jaz was a former Investment Banker at Merill Lynch on Wall Street. Jaz had an early passion for acting entertaining family members by imitating relatives and friends. In 2000, he made his big screen debut in the adaption of Terry McMillan’s celebrated novel “Disappearing Acts” along with Sanaa Lathan and Wesley Snipes. But many of us remember Laz flexing his dramatic chops in Spike Lee’s “Miracle at St. Anna.” Laz portrays an aged WWII veteran from the segregated Buffalo Soldiers 92nd Infantry Division. We also remember the hilarious bathroom scene in “This Christmas,” Laz played a cheating husband who gets an oiled up old school whipping by his wife, actress Regina King. We can see Laz in theaters this Friday making a cameo in the film “Just Wright.” Laz is reportedly taken. Sorry ladies!
