This mobile phone video shows a 2-year-old toddler puffing on a blunt like a pro. Why is the child even remotely exposed to weed? Accusations are pointing to the child’s 21-year-old mother. The Ohio woman, Jessica Gamble, has been charged with child endangerment, evidence tampering, and “corrupting another with drugs.” The indictment was returned by a grand jury in Cincinnati.
The video explains it all. As the child smokes a thick marijuana joint, the mother tells the child, “Don’t blow on it.” The little girl brings the joint to the mother, and Gamble asks, “What is that? What is that?” Gamble takes the joint away from the child while laughing and says, “Bad!”
Local prosecutors reveal that the mother was indicted after someone she to whom she showed the video ousted her.
According to CNN, the young child has been placed in the care of relatives and is safe.
Julie Wilson, a chief assistant prosecutor, tells CNN that Gamble faces serious felony charges. “We’ll have to see how it plays out, but we’re obviously very concerned about this little girl, and we’ll do whatever we can to make sure that she’s safe.”
What do you think about this video, and the unfolding case? Should Jessica Gamble be locked up? Sound off!
