• Charlie Sheen is so not #winning. After royally screwing himself and the cast of his hit show, “Two and a Half Men,” Charlie Sheen and his “tiger blood,” are officially out of a job. In what seems like the longest public meltdown ever, the people over at CBS have had enough of Charlie Sheen’s brand of crazy. In a statement released yesterday, TV executives said they’re giving Carlos the boot. “Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of ‘Two and a Half Men’ for the remainder of the season.” [Access Hollywood]
  • Jennifer Hudson snagged the April cover of Essence, and she looks good! In the issue, Hudson dishes about her amazing weight loss, balancing work and motherhood, and her upcoming nuptials. Jennifer Hudson is definitely on a role. After snagging an Oscar and a Grammy, she’s releasing her sophomore album and is set to star in the upcoming Winnie Mandela biopic. Get ‘em girl! [Essence]
  • Should the Huffington Post pay its writers? After the blockbuster merger between The Huffington Post and AOL, many are wondering if the popular news and entertainment site should pay its bloggers. Although the HuffPo has approximately 180 paid journalist on staff, much of its content comes from unpaid bloggers. But don’t expect that to change anytime soon. After a few bloggers threatened to go on strike because they wanted to get paid, HuffPo founder Arianna Huffington called their bluff. She told the disgruntled bloggers to go ahead and strike, no one will notice they’re missing anyway. Well damn. Checkmate. [The Wrap]
  • Jay Electronica is such a tease. It’s been a minute since Jay E. stormed onto the hip-hop scene capturing the attention of disenfranchised heads hungry for “real” hip-hop. Since dazzling us with “Exhibit A” and “Exhbit C,” Jay Electronica went underground to record his highly-anticipated album. Although his debut isn’t quite ready yet, Jay E. released a video, “The Making of Act II” to pacify his fans. Although the video looks dope, it’s no substitute for the real thing. [Rap Radar]

Peep Jay Electronica’s “The Making of Act II.” What’s going on with y’all today Clutchettes and Gents?

Oh no, Jennifer’s face looks awful.

    • Mimi

I wouldn’t say that it looks “awful”, just different. I noticed how different her face looked at the Oscars. Not better or worse, just different. That also happened when Star Jones underwent her bypass surgery. Her face seemed to morph into someone else completely.

Please post your picture or STFU

@Gam: When a person who’s been overweight for most of their life loses a large amount of weight post-puberty, the excess skin on their face can cause a sagging/wrinkling affect. Her face will “fill out” again in a matter of months. Funny, you can say that her face looks awful, but her body is amazing. If that were the opposite, you probably would not have said anything. Just remember, her beauty or lack thereof in your eyes does not take away from her newfound health, amazing figure, so apparent happiness.

I cannot wait for Jay Electronica’s debut album. I have been playing his mixtapes like crazy..just waiting for the man to drop something new. That being said, I am glad he is taking his time. I don’t want it unless it is the best.

Jennifer is an amazing woman. I’m soo happy that she highlights the obstacles that she overcame to loose the weight more than the weight loss itself. Cause everyone can identify with challenges, setbacks, roadblocks that lay ahead on the path to change.
