Rising star, actress Lauren London covers Rolling Out Magazine. In a spread inspired by Janis Gaye, Marvin Gaye’s wife who embodied high-fashion 70s style, London rocks fur coats, striped platforms, bell-bottom jeans, leopard maxidresses and floppy hats.

While promoting her new film “Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family,” in which she stars as Renee, London spoke to the site about her love life and beauty secrets. She also finally addressed critics of her pregnancy. Read on for more.

On Her Beauty Regimen…

“I don’t even think I’m all that cute,” she said when asked about her beauty secrets. “But I maintain a clean face and make sure I have a mani and pedi once a week. I think it’s important for women to take care of their nails, hair, skin and feet.  That’s it. I keep it natural and simple … but when I get some sun, I’m all ready. That [tan] would be a beauty secret if I had one.”

On Her Pregnancy…

“I had a pregnancy that wasn’t private … A lot of people had their opinions about it. They were surprised that I came up pregnant, which was a surprise to me, because I’m a woman and women get pregnant and Lauren comes first before the actress, so having my son was the best thing that ever happened to me,”  she said.

On relationships…

“I’m 26 years old,” she said. “Does any 26-year-old woman have relationships figured out? If so, I want to meet her. I’m still trying to figure mine out.

On her personal growth…

“I think evolution is a natural thing. I was 21 when I came into the industry and now, I’m 26. So, my style is gonna change. My hair hasn’t changed, but my outlook on clothes, movies [and] interviews that I do are gonna be different from when I first came out. I didn’t put too much thought into [makes air quotes with her fingers] coming back. I just love what I do […] Life has its ups and downs, so I’ll continue to do this [motions as if riding waves] and grow. And thankfully, I love that the people are growing with me and love watching me, so I’ve been blessed.”

I think she is a beautiful young woman and you take good care of your son and don’t worry about them hater they will be like that forevery, they just want who you have your son by. Stay sweet and you will go far in life.

    • hehe

“they just want who you have your son by”

      clearly ur delusional.

    • Thank you Hehe you took the words out of my mouth. I lost respect for Lauren London after she had a baby for the Grimlin. She was doing pretty well as an actress. She was on the come up, everyone was talking about how she was the next big thing. Then she gets pregnant by him…..I honestly think that she did it just in case the acting thing didn’t workout. Seriously, what self respecting woman would have a baby by a man who is unbelievably ugly and who makes it known to the world that if you weren’t light skin he wouldn’t be with you? I don’t care how talented he is, is being color struck a characteristic you’re going to pass on to your son? Are you going to teach your son that his father wouldn’t love him if he were even a shade darker? And why is she acting as thogh pregnancy just happens? No pregnancy isn’t something that shouldn’t just happen. She is making it seem like its ok for the average 20 something single female to just wake up and be pregnant like its no big deal. Well we can’t all be knocked up by a millionaire self hater who will take care of us for the rest of our lives.

lboogie….LOL!!! You took the words right out of my mouth!

I lost all respect for Lauren when she had a baby by Yuk MOUF. Behind your beauty is something sick. Harsh words but all the cookies are not in the jar for you to have consorted with such an animal.

There are many men who will write her off for being Lil Wayne’s baby mama. She has her work cut out for her. Good luck Lauren!
