A woman’s pregnancy is one of the most special times of her life. Her body is changing, holding a growing life and doing what she was genetically blessed with the ability to do- bring a child into this world. It is the time they will remember for the rest of their lives and for many women one that must be captured.
So it was for mom-to-be Mariah Carey who posed for a nude photo shoot with husband Nick Cannon. Awaiting the birth of their twins, the couple decided to make a memory posing for a session with all clothes to the side.
Yesterday, on his radio show, Nick expressed some regret over the photos featured in Life&Style, saying hanging them in the couples’ home makes him feel a little squeamish to say the least.
“My children are going to have to see these pictures. It’s a little weird. It’s a little nasty. I mean, have you ever seen your parents naked? When [your children] get older and their friends come over, they will see the pictures and say, ‘Your daddy’s butt naked.’ I don’t want my naked booty out there for everyone to see!”
For many women, the artistic nude photo session during their pregnancy is a way to commemorate the beautiful moments and memories of waiting for their baby to arrive. But for others the pictures are too exposing showing off far more than they’d like to share.
For us the verdict is out on these bare all photo sessions. They are a beautiful idea in theory but in reality…Could we get down with a professional black and white shoot kept forever under lock and key? It’s possible.
