In the late 70’s Pat Cleveland was the epitome of a supermodel with her style, grace, mile-long legs and head full of hair. After being spotted in an Ebony Fashion Fair by a Vogue editor, Cleveland went on to take the Paris fashion scene by storm.

She partied with the best of them: Karl Lagerfeld, Yves Saint Laurent and Claude Montana. She walked Oscar de la Renta, Stephen Burrows, Willi Smith, Valentino and Chloe’s runway shows. Cleveland was one of Halston’s original models, along with Angelica Hurston and Karen Bjornson– the Halstonettes, they were dubbed.

After appearing in Vogue, GQ, Interview, and Harper’s Bazaar among other glossies, she retired from her glamazon lifestyle.

But that doesn’t mean that we can’t revisit Pat’s glamorous looks like this yellow Halston number.

What’s old is new again. Elegant and timeless, yellow evokes summer by illuminating the skin and brightening up any modern-day wardrobe.¬†Sweeping yellow maxidresses and even short sheaths with black waistbands are just as popular today.

Here are a few of our favorite pieces that channel her look:
