Blessed with killer genes, amazing style and a talent that’s made the world sit up and take notice, you would think Zoe Kravitz would be happy with being Hollywood’s latest it-girl. But in her new interview with ASOS Magazine for their 2011 Festival Issue, Zoe says that she’s not a fan off all the premature hype.

“All that ‘it girl’ shit makes me kind of uncomfortable. I’m only at
the beginning of my career, but I feel successful in that I haven’t
sold out in any way, shape or form. I feel good about the choices
I’ve made, and I don’t feel like I’ve let go of any of my values.
Fame has become this obsession for people, which kind of creeps me

In the spread for ASOS, Zoe shows off her eclectic yet demure style. While she has become a fashion icon in her own right, the rocker and actress says she had was blessed to born into a family with incredible style. Speaking of her parents, Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, Zoe said:

“I used to be a little embarrassed by how she (mom Lisa Bonet) and my
dad (Lenny Kravitz) would dress…but now I steal their clothes all
the time.”

If she isn’t already a well-known name, her role in the upcoming X-Men: The First Class is sure to get her more recognition. According to Zoe, filming the movie (which hits theatres this Friday) allowed her to indulge in one of her favorite pastimes:

“We (Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and boyfriend Michael Fassbender) were living in London for four months and it was like X-Men summer camp, so we all hung out at each other’s houses after filming, went out to pubs…I lived in Notting Hill, right by Portobello…I’m spending all my money on flea-market shopping!”

While she may hate the ‘it’ girl label- for her fans, getting more of Zoe could never be a bad thing.
