Jennifer Hudson is known for her awe inspiring chops, determined spirit and her talents in the studio and on the big screen. And in case we needed another J Hud quality to love, well, add to that list “versatility.”
Word is that Jennifer has officially joined the cast of The Three Stooges. In a role we hope will show off both her acting and singing chops, Jennifer will play Sister Rosemary, one of Stooges‘ slapstick nuns. Her casting completes out the trio of the sisters. Jennifer will join Glee’s Jane Lynch, who will be playing Mother Superior and Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David, who will be playing Mother Mengele in drag.
The Farrelly Brother’s remake of Stooges is shaping up to be a comedic juggernaut of a film to say the least. After nearly a year of adjustments and cast changes the lineup of the actual Stooges will be: Will Sasso as Curly, Sean Hayes as Larry and Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe.
Jennifer is sure to have a hit on her hands joining the star studded cast. While it’s quite a leap from her upcoming role as Nelson Mandela’s wife in Winnie, it’s good to see Hollywood giving our girl the props she deserves.
Clutchettes, what do you think of J Hud joining the Stooges cast- perfect placement or odd fit? Share your thoughts!
