Even though there is OWN, Oprah.com, and O Magazine, it’s still possible you are going through Oprah withdrawals. For 25 years, The Oprah Show brought Ms. Winfrey into the homes of millions of Americans and people around the world. And though, there will always be a void at 4 PM, fans of the show will get a keepsake to remember the good times this fall.
According to Publisher Weekly, Abrams has announced it will release The Oprah Winfrey Show: Reflections on an American Legacy on November 15th. An initial printing of 500,000 copies has been ordered.
The book is a 240-page coffee table book that will allow Oprah lovers to reflect on moments throughout the years. The cover features an profile photo of Ms. Winfrey shot by fashion photographer Ruven Afanador. It will also include essays on the impact of Oprah from various public figures including Nicholas Kristof, Diane von Furstenberg and of course, Maya Angelou. The book contains 150 photographs that highlight the media mogul’s 25-year run on her nationally televised talk show.
The price tag for all these Oprah memories will be $50.
