Rapper-turned-designers are so ubiquitous these days that I barely pay attention when a new line is announced. Except, of course, when that new line is designed by Pharrell, one of the best-dressed men in hip hop in Coco’s humble opinion.

The rapper/producer got the attention of the fashion industry with his successful prep meets hipster menswear line, Billionaire Boys Club.

According to WWD, Billionare Girls Club (BGC) will launch Spring 2013 and is one of many ventures Pharrell is working on including a shoe line with designer Mark McNairy, available in February and a coffee table book, “Places & Spaces I’ve Been,” with Ambra Medda of Design Miami.

Are you excited for Pharrell’s Billionaire Girls Club line?

  • I think this is the only original person on the music scene, if you think that rap is a music scene.

I enjoyed his work with wallpaper and his interest in design. I am looking to see more of his table than dresses. But I think it is good that he is also ino fashion as he is into fashion. I am more into furniture.

Clothing lines have been done to death.

I was wondering what happpened to this blog, It is good that Dede has this working again.

  • Pink Bandaid

I have to see his line to say whether or not I’d be interested. I saw his men’s line, and I was not into it.

  • Definitely not interested if its anything like BBC.
