Right on time for the Chicago International Film Festival, actor/author Hill Harper makes his directorial debut of a new short film titled The Truth. The film tells the story of a man who suspects his wife of infidelity and while demanding to know the truth, “receives news that devastates their marriage and forever changes their lives, while imparting an important life lesson.”

The film starring Rockmond Dunbar, Diandra Lyle, Terisa Griffin, Dwight Eubanks, Jensen Atwood, Mel Jackson and Eric Lane was written by Randy Crumpton and Craig J. Harris.

The Chicago International Film Festival takes place on Oct 10, 14 and 15 as part of its City and State shorts program.
