Picture-1411Now that Fall is here in full swing, it’s time to update your beauty regimen for the cooler months. The crisper wind of November calls for more moisture, skin brightening products, and a night cream to keep it all together. Whether hyperpigmentation, oily skin, acne prone skin, or extremely dry skin is your concern, the colder months can be an added harshness to your face. But gratefully, there are more beauty products at every price level to combat those concerns and fill up your medicine closet. Here are my personal favorite for the season, that are somewhat reasonable and actually get the job done.

Erno Laszlo Sea Mud Soap:
This 97% natural iconic black bar of soap, deeply cleans your face without stripping the natural oils your skin makes on its own. Used by Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, and Jackie O, this black bar is infused with minerals from the Dead Sea, known to have agents to help exfoliate, refine and soften any type of skin’s texture. Available at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom for $40.

For The Day:

Perricone MD High Potency Amine Face Lift:
This anti- aging cream is not only taking some years off your face, but also provides an instant glow and healthy radiance. Think of this little bottle as being your insurance at preserving a youthful face with long term benefits. Definitely on the pricier side, but it does not fall short on delivering what it says it will do. And, Jennifer Lopez has been using this for ages and as you can see, she hasn’t aged one bit. Available at Sephora for $95.

Specific Beauty Daily Hydration Lotion – SPF 30:
Used with the Perricone MD High Potency Anime Face Lift, this skin brightening moisturizer, protects a broad spectrum against UVA and UVB rays and doesn’t have that annoying greasy residue like other moisturizers. Specific Beauty products, created specifically for the wide range of women of color from tan to olive to brown, proves its dedication to us with this moisturizer, which works perfectly during the day for our skin needs. Available at Wal-Mart for $17.99.
