Fashion is always searching for the next big thing when it comes to trends, models, and designers. Every year, there is a new group of designers emerging and defining the future of fashion.
Azede Jean-Pierre is a rising star in the industry. In her early twenties, she has already accomplished a few miles stones.
From getting a fashion design degree from Savannah College of Art and Design to being featured in Vogue Italia to being awarded the M. Jack Anderson Emerging Talent Award to showcasing one of her Spring/Summer 2011 creations in the window of Neiman Marcus in Atlanta.
In 2011, she spent the summer interning for Ohne Titel and worked on completing her latest collection. The 23-year-old documents her journey as a young designer on her “Newcomer” blog where she showcases her DIY projects, her design process, and her personal style.
The Atlanta based designer’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection featured feminine dresses embellished with petals and origami accents. For her Spring/Summer 2011 Capsule collection, Azede experimented more with sheer panels as well as a simple color story of black and white.
Azede makes clothes for women that are classy, but sexy at the same time. Her clothes mix femininity with androgyny. It is just a matter of time before we see Azede Jean-Pierre fashion line debut on the honorable runway of New York Fashion Week.
