“A life of reaction is a life of slavery, intellectually and spiritually. One must fight for a life of action, not reaction.” – Rita Mae Brown

Many times we find ourselves reacting to others and what they say or do. But our strength comes not from constantly reacting to the whims of others, but by acting on our own ideas, goals, and feelings. Instead of waiting for things to happen to to us, take action and make life happen.

Happy Tuesday!

+1! I work hard at this everyday myself. I come from the “do what society says is acceptable” generation regardless if it reflects the true “you” or not. I feel like the rebel when I go against the grain, so to speak, lol and I’m loving it!

I really needed to hear this today. Lately I have been reacting to things that have come my way instead of taking action that would provide more direction for my life. Often Black women we are deceived into thinking that we have no power or options. So we settle for less and waste all our valuable time reacting to what life throws our way instead of really living. My wish for every woman on this sight is to take time today and really think about what they want out of life and start thinking about what actions they can do to help bring their dreams to fruition…I love you gals, peace!

Yes! I’ve been debating with starting my own business and have come to the conclusion that if I could advance in this particular avenue everyday of my life I would be extrememly happy. Action to make this my reality! Just what I needed to hear.
