“Gratitude is an opener of locked-up blessings.” – Marianne Williamson
Do you give thanks everyday? Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up with what we have to do, what we don’t have, and what we’re working to get that we forget to take a little time to be grateful for what we do have: good health, supportive families, shelter, intelligence, breath in our bodies, etc.
Over the weekend I made a decision to pay attention to my language. I would no longer say negative things about myself, I would no longer feel fearful about not measuring up, and if I did feel those feelings creeping in, I’d immediately start thinking of all of the things I am thankful about. What I’ve found is that I not only feel better and less anxious about my life, but I’ve even been presented with more opportunities to continue to pursue my passion.
So while you work hard creating the life you want, don’t forget to say thank you for getting this far.
