We all have our favorite memories about growing up. For some of us it’s summer vacations and barbeques, for others it’s Saturday morning cartoons and Sunday cleaning music. One of my favorite memories is riding around in my mom’s Toyota Camry. I had a lot of good times in that car and when I rode past my friends on the block you couldn’t tell me I wasn’t the woman! Here are three reasons why I loved our Toyota Camry.

Always In Style
We live in a finicky world. What people like today is never what they’ll like tomorrow or next year, but even though tastes change like the wind some things always stay the same and the Camry is one of them. Over the years the Camry has only gotten better and I loved riding through my neighborhood in my mom’s shiny Camry, music blasting and wind in my hair. Aww, memories!

Features, Features…And More Features
If you’re looking for a car that’s stylish as well as up to date on the latest auto features, then Camry is your car. During my teen years, after intense begging that usually involved pouting, my mom would let my friends and I borrow the car. We knew the ride would be great, we had power everything, smooth leather seats, a cd player and a great stereo system. Today Camry is still a cool ride with even cooler features, navigation systems, satellite radio, MP3 player capability, heated seats…the list can go on!

Built Camry Tough
One weekend when I was hanging with my mom going to get ice cream, a car ran a stop sign and hit my mom’s new Camry. We spun around for what felt like forever, and when we came to a stop we did so in one piece. Our airbags deployed and the body of the car was beat up pretty bad, but that good old Toyota craftsmanship kept the car from crumpling like a soda can. From that day to this one my mom and I have never driven anything but Toyota Camry. We were made Camry owners for life.

“We all have our favorite memories about growing up.” – No, we don’t. Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

Ehhhh if I live in a home that the picture suggest ($1 million +) a camery would be the farthest thing from my driveway.

To me the Camry looks boring compared to what Toyota is capable of, just look at their Lexus cars. (The Lexus LF-LC concept is a perfect example of just how creative Toyota can be). Any they may look nicer because they cost more, but with the Scion FR-S coming out there’s proof their entire range of cars can look better. As for features, those can be found on any car, if you want to pay for them.

Craftsmanship, however, I do agree with. Japanese cars are some of the best built. Hondas & Toyotas will last you a lifetime if you take care of them. American cars, not so much, and Euros can be quite temperamental, then cost a fortune to maintain.

This is coming to you from an avid automotive enthusiast :)
