“Every morning is a fresh beginning. Every day is the world made new. Today is a new day. Today is my world made new. I have lived all my life up to this moment, to come to this day. This moment–this day–is as good as any moment in all eternity. I shall make of this day–each moment of this day–a heaven on earth. This is my day of opportunity.”–Dan Custer

Too often we get caught up in what happened yesterday, last week, or three years ago. We hold onto our setbacks, hurts, and often talk about what we should have done if only we could press the rewind button. I’ve lived in the land of the shoulda, woulda, couldas a time or two myself, so I know how it goes. But constantly replaying the past and being paralyzed by it is no way to live at all. Instead, learn from your mistakes and start over again.

The beauty of life is that you get to hit the “reset” button every day. Each morning we wake up we’re afforded a new opportunity to start fresh and live the life we want.

Are you using your restart button or are you being held hostage by the past?

Happy Tuesday!

  • I’m being held hostage…I’m trying to work on that. It’s so much easier said than done.

Except, some of us aren’t afforded the opportunity to start fresh when the past is affecting so much of the present and future.

    This was meant for me.

This quote is sooo on point. & to Introverted Leo it’s a process. To see a brand new day you have to let go of some of those issues that kept you held back in the past. That’s not to say that they’ll go away, but they should not hold you back from being the best you you can be.

But, that’s also easier said then done. Life is a process…
