black web series

If you’ve been following CLUTCH for the past year then you know we love a good web series. From the Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl and to 12 Steps to Recovery, to SPIN and we’ve shared many of our favorites with you.

For those who have been sleeping on our coverage, web series are shows created by independent artist that often times fill a void of what’s offered on network TV. As we’ve seen this past year, the shows we cover offer much-needed depictions of people of color in complex, well-written, and often times hilarious roles.

This week, I’m going to share 4 shows that you should add to your must-see list.

Shall we?

Brothers With No Game, Ep. 3 – ‘Who’s Got Game?’

It’s no secret I love these guys. Based on their dating and relationships blog, this web series takes viewers inside the male mind with an honest and humorous look at what men really go through when they’re trying to win a woman’s affections. Oh, and who doesn’t love a man with a British accent?

Unwritten Rules episode was so much fun. A nice reminder to let loose and have fun and not worry what others think.

  • Real Nigga Wassup?

I think it’s funny that the BWNG say that their show is chauvinism mixed with chivalry cause chivalry contains chauvinism.
