Just clicked on the actual YouTube link and commenting is disabled for the video. WACK…if you can’t take the bad with the good, then don’t put it out for public consumption.

I agree with others that this video feels totally contrived. Solange’s goofy awkward dance moves and general vibe also totally don’t match the song, which is supposed to be sad and about losing someone you love? Girl doesn’t look sad to me!

She also just totally lacks any distinctive presence. Basically 1,000 other female artists could have done this vocal track– the only thing distinctive is Dev Hynes’ production, without that (and her sister obvs) she’s be NOWHERE.

Love the location, the paid participants and the ‘look’ of the video. Solange? What did the music industry do before electronic enhancements for vocals were available? That’s right – folks had to be able to sing. No disrespect, but Solange needs to find her own gig – this ain’t it.

Cute song! Love the video. The fashion is outstanding.

It wasnt bad, she looks great and the setting wasn’t bad, but I believe it is very contrived.

One video that caught my eye was “Get Free” by Major Lazer, I wish that song was Solange’s song for real I could imagine her voice on the track. The video was shot in Jamaica and showed everyday life beyond the beaches and resorts. Not someone posing in colorful suits and what not.

It wasnt bad but….its aight. Id rather just listen to the song and not watch the vid.

And by the way the teaser gave me another impression of what I thought the vid would be about :(
