Duro Olowu

It looks like JC Penney is about to up the ante and give Target’s designer mash-ups a run for their money. The over 100-year-old store has been doing some revamping to their brand over the last few years and 2013 looks to be the best yet. We told you about the collaboration between Nigerian-born, London-based designer Duro Olowu, one of Michelle Obama’s favorite designers, and the mass retailer a few months ago, and now the capsule collection for Spring/Summer 2013 is ready for us to see.

With prices ranging from $10 to $100, Olowu’s women’s clothing, accessories, stationary and home decor do not disappoint. Rich colors, textures and classic silhouettes abound and will be available in JCP stores and online from March through May 2013.

I’ve got dibs on the green Jacquard dress for $50 and the luggage! What will you get your hands on?

I agree with you on the Macy’s front…they’re VERY limited in the sizes and styles they offer now.
