This Deion and Pilar Sanders divorce is just getting messier and messier.
The former lovers, who have three children together, have been fighting in a bitter divorce battle for over a year now. From domestic violence arrests to disputes over child support, its been everything but classy.
In the latest divorce drama, Deion’s legal team has decided to withdraw from the case. In legal documents filed on New Year’s Eve, they cited inability to “effectively communicate with their client” as the reason. They also added that Deion is “unable to pay his attorneys pursuant to the terms of the employment agreements with his attorneys.”
The former NFL star currently has custody of the couple’s children. In December, Texas State District Judge Ray Wheless granted Deion temporary guardianship and ordered the children to undergo psychological counseling.
This order was put into place until the couple’s full custody hearing on today, January 9th. As far as custody goes, things may be looking bright for Pilar, considering Deion is out on a legal team.
We’ll be sure to keep you posted.
