Remember where you were working at 16? If you were the average teen you probably had a job at the local mall or fast food joint, where you made $10 an hour, if you were lucky. Well 16-year-old Prince Jackson is anything but average. In fact, he’s pop music royalty as the first born son to the late, great King of Pop himself Michael Jackson, so naturally the average teenage job just won’t do.
The heir to the MJ throne has just landed himself a job as a special correspondent on “ET,” where the teen, who says he would like to follow his father’s show biz footsteps, held his first-ever interviews with James Franco, Zach Braff and Sam Raimi, of the upcoming “Oz the Great and Powerful.” Of course since Prince is still in high school the gig will be tailored around his school schedule, but that isn’t discouraging him, he still has plans to make it big in Hollywood saying “I’m looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor.”
ET’s Brooke Anderson says that Prince is very mature for his age, to which the he replied “That’s what most of my people say. That was all thanks to my dad. He raised me right.” Sweet.
Although, I’m sure MJ is somewhere moonwalking in his grave (you know he didn’t like his kids in the spotlight), you have to admire Prince’s desire to do something more than just live off of his father’s name. Kudos to him!
