The New York Police Department is searching for Sabrina Malone. The 27-year-old went missing on Saturday night, according to authorities. Malone was last seen leaving her parents’ home in Cobble Hill at about 8:30 PM Saturday night.
Malone failed to show up to her job the next day and didn’t call in, which is particularly unlike her as she hasn’t missed a day of work in three years, her co-workers told law enforcement sources.
At press time, there is still no electronic trace of Malone, who resides in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, law enforcement sources said. She has not used her credit card, cell phone or any other electronics that authorities could use to place her whereabouts.
“When her roommate told me he didn’t hear from her, and I spoke to my daughter and I spoke to my son and no one heard from her, panic definitely set in,” said Paula Manning.
The NYPD describes Malone as 5-feet-3 inches tall and 155 pounds. She has dark brown eyes and black curly hair. She also has a tattoo on her hand.
CBS reports she was last seen wearing blue sneakers, a gray sweatshirt and gray jeans.
The NYPD urges anyone with information about the disappearance of Sabrina Malone to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS or text to CRIMES (274637) and enter TIP577.
