Eddie Murphy "Red Light"

Yup, you read that right.

Comedian Eddie Murphy is back with a new single and this time he’s chanting down Babylon, or something, with his new reggae anthem “Red Light.”

“Red Light” is the first single from Murphy’s forthcoming album, 9, due out later this year. The song, which features a verse by Snoop Dogg Lion, is fueled by heavy guitar riffs, Murphy’s vocals, and is slightly reminiscent of Bob Marley’s classic “Jammin.”

This isn’t Murphy’s first time in the recording booth. In 1985, the actor released  his debut album How Could It Be, which featured the memorable single “Party All the Time.”

Listen to “Red Light” and let us know if you’re feeling it.

What say you, Clutchettes–love it or leave it alone?
