President Barack Obama says he hasn’t had a smoke in years – thanks in no small part to his fear of  first lady Michelle Obama. The president has never been one to shy away from discussing his cigarette habit and in 2011 Mrs. Obama did say that he finally kicked the habit.

Last night, President Obama was caught on camera talking with a U.N official and the subject of smoking came up.

After the official appeared to ask Obama about his own cigarette use, Obama said he hadn’t had a cigarette in probably six years.

The president then said, “That’s because I’m scared of my wife.”

Monday’s exchange came on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly in New York.

I wonder what Mrs. Obama has to say about his six years cigarette free claim?

I love POTUS and FLOTUS…they are so the real life version of the Huxtables to me…

Him ad his cigarette habit and fear of FLOTUS kind of reminds me Cliff’s junk food habit and his fear of Claire lol.

But I’m glad that he quit and is a better example for his kids and others. I need to follow his footsteps and get rid of that (expensive!!) habit.

Good for him and his fear of Michelle lol…happy wife=happy life…:-)

  • Nothing wrong with a little bit of healthy fear of disappointing ones spouse.

I think it’s cute, but I’m sure someone will twist his words.

You know it. The folks at FAUX News will have Obama as a henpecked husband and therefore a weak leader. *eye roll*

  • “That’s because I’m scared of my wife.”

That’s cute? No wonder marriage has a PR problem.
