Lil Raggamuffin Summer Camp provides an “entrepreneurs without borders” experience to children in Jamaica as part of an international youth development organization. The program works to demystify the challenges of self-employment and helps young community members find solutions to problems and turn their passions into profit. One of their current projects includes revitalizing a coffee-farming village in Jamaica.

The organization constantly fundraises to help send more of Jamaica’s youth to the summer camp program. Annually, the camp operates on about $28,720. The money is used to support teachers and provide food, supplies, and housing to the children involved in the program.

Very offensive titled camp. That would be like saying in the United States “little hood rat” camp. Jesus.

  • @ Shelly I feel you, but I think she was tryna re-appropriate the word.. like in the case of the “N” word or “Dread” etc.

  • I’d love to see an end to Black folks using slang, weird spellings for things, and making up new words. It was cute for a while bit it’s time to grow up and realize it doesn’t benefit from speaking differently from everyone else. It just makes us look illiterate and dumb.

Organizing donations camps is really a good way of collecting money for charity and help the poor children’s make them happy.
