Columbus Short

On Thursday, former Gladiator Columbus Short pleaded not guilty to battery for a bar fight that seriously injured a man at a West Hollywood restaurant earlier this year. He still faces a misdemeanor spousal battery case against his estranged wife, Tuere Short, who has a temporary restraining order against him. He pleaded not guilty in that case, too.

Short’s attorney, Jeff Jacquet, says Short will contest the restraining order.

Short’s wife filed for divorce last month, citing irreconcilable differences. She seeks legal and physical custody of their two-year-old daughter.

    TMZ showed a picture of the guy that Short had allegedly knocked out. That guy was in Christ Tucker from Fridays voice, “Knocked the hell out”

    If he did it, which I kind of believe he did, then he doesn’t need a slap on the wrist. He needs to pay for his crimes and get some damn help. I hate it when celebrities are allowed to get away with their BS!
