  • This article is misleading and should be labeled “Five ways to become a vegan”. I know many Americans need to eat more fruits and vegetables. However, (and some may disagree), one does not need to become a vegan or vegetarian to eat healthy. If anything, it is the sugar (high fructose corn syrup and manufactured sweetners), excess salt (msg), and trans-fats causing the most problem. Excessive grains and refined starches are also an issue. However, that is another topic of discussion.
