If you’ve been hiding under a rock, you may have missed the new internet craze involving Kermit memes. Everyone’s favorite Muppet character has now been reduced to a mouthpiece for people on social media. At first they started off as cute memes, but slowly they’ve evolved into something racist, sexist and even homophobic.

In the memes, Kermit is always depicting saying things that people want to say, but they don’t because “that’s none of their business”.

Take a look at a few:

Yeah and I’ll bet they were all created by black bitch-made omega males. These memes are generated by people with way too much time on their hands. Next!

Haha! I guess I’ve been under a rock because I’ve never heard about this. I didn’t find any of them funny.

If it were an inspirational or motivational meme, this discussion wouldn’t even exist. Although at times funny, it saddens me on how black women are reposting them to demean other black women. Negativity spreads like wildfire; we’ve got to take a stand and start extinguishing these harmful things.

ITA. This is why I had to unfriend a few folks on facebook. I don’t want to see this ignorance on my wall. Plus if someone knows a lot of people who fit these ugly stereotypes they need to find new friends, instead of spreading this nonsense and pretending to be above it all.

You date white women that look like Rosie O’Donnell with thankles (thighs the same size as your ankles), but you think Lupita Nyong’o is ugly. But that ain’t none of my business. If I had enough time on my hands, I would make meme’s bashing black men, but unlike black men, I have a job and a life.

      Lmaooooooooooooooooo I laughed so hard.
