A young woman who was walking home after attending a party was brutally abducted in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, and all the mayhem was captured by a surveillance video.

Philadelphia police released the disturbing footage on Monday and it shows 22 year-old Carlesha Freeland-Gaither being approached by a man at approximately 9:40 pm on Sunday night.

The details of the kidnapping plays out chillingly as a car slowly turns into a deserted street and a man gets out and starts following Freeland-Gaither. Clearly suspecting the worse, the frightened woman attempts to walk away but the man quickly overpowers her and tosses her into his waiting car and then drives off. The missing woman’s phone and glasses were left behind.

So far the police have confirmed that the woman’s bank card was used at around 6 am Tuesday morning at a branch near Aberdeen.

Freeland-Gaither is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds. She was last seen wearing a light blue jean jacket, a gray and white sweater, blue jeans and tan/green shows.

The FBI has announced a $25,000 reward for anyone who has information that can help solve this crime. Local officials are also offering $17,000 as an added bonus.
