Marlon Wayans is taking his right to use the N-word seriously by filing legal docs in defense of an Instagram post that depicts him calling an extra from his film “Haunted House 2” a n**** and also claiming that he is a Cleveland lookalike. Wayans insists that the word is used as a term of endearment. He explains that he grew up in a neighborhood where Black men and women freely used the N-word as a way to demonstrate affection and a level of familiarity.
Wayans also admitted that he uses the controversial word with anyone he considers a friend regardless of their racial makeup. His “Haunted House 2” co-star Jamie Pressly is on the list of non-Blacks that get the N-word treatment from the comedian and actor. Pressly also defended Wayans by confirming that she has been addressed as n**** in the past, but understands that it is not done in an insulting manner.
Considering the current racial climate it may be a good idea for every one to refrain from using N-word until further notice.
