All eyes were on the Williams sisters during Tuesday night’s U.S. Open tournament. But it was the youngest Williams, that walked away with a win. Serena won with  6-2, 1-6, 6-3 sets.

But as with the sisterly bond they share, Venus, as they both walked off the court whispered, “So happy for you” to Serena.

“Obviously we are very, very tough competitors on the court,” Serena said later, “but once the match is over, the second it’s done, you know, we’re sisters, we’re roommates, and we’re all that.”

The sibling rivalry between Serena and Venus is something that a lot of people expect to cause drama within their relationship, but clearly that doesn’t happen.

As Serena moves on in the tournament and attempts to capture a Grand Slam, one thing’s for sure: Venus and Serena are the epitome of sisterhood.

Venus and Serena Williams = Epitome of SISTERHOOD!!!

  • These Sisters are friends and Serena Williams has always praised the great talent of Venus Williams.

We are all rooting for Serena to win the U.S. Open.

    Serena Williams is the greatest.

  • You know, whatever the outcome, it would’ve been a win for both sisters. I’m not losing if my sister’s winning!
