After a short hiatus, that Adele says allowed for growth, as well as starting a family, the British singer is back with another song that could possibly bring people to tears.
Adele teased fans last weekend when she released a snippet of “Hello” and she wasn’t even sure that her marketing plan was going to go over well.
Adele said, “I thought no-one’s going to know it’s me. It’ll backfire.”
And of course it didn’t backfire. People knew her voice, even if it was only for 3 seconds.
On Friday morning, Adele’s video premiered on YouTube and Vevo, and it’s nothing short of breathtaking. And it doesn’t help that Tristan Wilds, from 90210 and The Wire, is playing the former love interest, who obviously doesn’t want anything to do with her phone calls or apologies.
The one thing about Adele’s music is that it’s always relatable. There’s that time in someone’s life, whether man or woman, when you regret how you’ve ended a relationship, or how it was ended. And then you try to make amends with that person, and they don’t want anything to do with you.
Wild’s character in the video definitely wasn’t feeling the constant phone calls and apologies. It ‘bees’ like that sometimes.
