I agree with J.G. Natural products and a consistent routine go a long way. I struggled mightally with my skin until I started incorporating natural oils, apple cider vinegar, vitamin E and other whole products. Making the shift really did help with how well makeup products looked on the skin. It also helped me save a ton in the process.

I cannot stress the importance of Evening Primrose Oil (internally), Black Seed Oil (externally) and liquid Bentonite (internally) for a flawless complexion. I’ve never had it until I started using these things, and now my skin is gorgeous. Start from the inside out.

@ Jeromi – Actually I think Amber Rose IS of the African diaspora (well, at least half of her). She’s said her mother is Cape Verdean; Cape Verde is an island off the coast of Africa. She’s a cute girl and yes, she does have flawless skin, but I sort of feel you. Why not choose a black girl with staying power instead of some chick who basically is sleeping her way into her 15 minutes?

Why is Amber Rose used as the example of a flawless face and not a “black” woman. Also, when I use the term black I don’t mean in complexion but someone of the African Diaspora.

I agree with how important it is to get the right tools and products. If your going to spend a lot of money on your shoes you should spend money on getting your face right. LOL!
