Designing all her life, Designs by Alicia P. officially started in Summer of 2005. With only a year out of college and going through financial hard times, Alicia decided to take her craft to the streets. Hustling on the crowded and competitive streets of Soho, selling her designs became her sole income. Eventually landing a job as the lead jewelry designer for a small New York company, Alicia was able to invest more money into building her company and expanding her product. Doing further research, she was able to receive amazing financial and business support from the peer lending group, Project Enterprise. Two years later, and Alicia’s business is steadily taking off!

Inspired by her family, culture and travels coupled with her degrees in both Anthropology and Fine Arts from Rutgers University, she continues to speak creatively though her pieces. Alicia’s hand painted t-shirts pay tribute to Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix and Frida Kahlo, becoming wearable art. She also makes personalized t-shirts using names and shapes to make a statement.

Stepping beyond imitations, Alicia’s work stands out in a crowd. With affordable prices and originality- she offers a rare deal.
