Jypsea ~ Eclectic Hand Crafted Leathergoods

“I create because I need to. I need food, clothing, shelter, love and to make fresh new funk daily.” This is the drive and passion behind Jypsea–pronounced gypsy–a line of vintage inspired accessories designed by Terina McKinney. Hats, shoes, wallets, bags, various, small leathergoods and leather jewelry are all included in her collection of handcrafted gems. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology’s accessory design program, Terina has been creating all her life be it clothes, art, or crafts. Besides conjuring up one-of-a-kind pieces, McKinnney’s main role is that of “Mommy” to her baby girl.

The Tamara Clutch/Tote, which is the perfect bag for a night on the town. The Tamara Clutch is made with lambskins, snakeskin and metallic gold leather. You can tuck it under the arm as a clutch or open and fit your wrist through the handles and wear it as a tote.

The leather Nicole Shoulderbag, which fits everything but the kitchen sink and features a beautiful vintage cotton lining, purse feet for added structure and oversized zippered pockets.

Our favorite by far is the Amiel Hobo. This gorgeous bag has a wonderful shape and is made of vintage cotton trimmed in luxe leathers. The adjustable leather strap ties into a bow at the shoulder. So cute! There is also one-size fits most leather and elastic waist-cinchers and many new belts on the way.
