Wow. Clutch is one of the only mainstream online magazines with an committment to highlight designers and individuals of the Black/African/African American community. I agree with Jeorgie – you should really look at the back issues of Clutch before making a statement about Clutch “doing their bit”. HIlarious.

I like Ladybrille alot too! But, the thing I love about Clutch they don’t segment Black people – it’s just Black – not African/African American. Lots of sites and blogs can learn a lesson or two from these ladies.

I think the Ladybrille team is doing a lot for the african fashion scene. Seriously speaking, Africa is a gold mine with alot to offer the world. I agree with her concept. Its high time the west meets africa. I hope clutch can also facilitate this process by featuring African designers and their work. Such exposure I believe will lead to an appreciation, a desire to own/wear and next a demand to stock. Thats the fashion revolution there about to happen. Ladyrille has got the ball rolling. Clutch do your bit.
