Club Cushions was created by Tondalaya for the empowerment and acceptance of women of size. An aspiring plus size model herself, she had a dream of starting something that would shed a new light on the term BBW (big beautiful women). Tired of the negative sexual connotations of the term and being overlooked by the fashion industry. Her vision was to develop a business, a brand, a state of mind where women are proud and confident of who they are and not what society says they should be.

Club Cushions is a lifestyle, a way of living. With the average women being a size 14 today, it is very clear that we are not going anywhere. So quit feeling down, and feeling sorry for yourself for being a plus size woman. Embrace it, let the world know that you are not just another pretty face, and that you are sexy, confident, and proud no matter what your size is!

*Club Cushions does not promote an unhealthy lifestyle. It's ok to be plus sized as long as your health is first!*

This is a really great article, because it is hard to find things that fit, speaking as a plus-size woman, and every plus-size woman is not short with wide hips.

I Just read a blog "Plus size clothes" at a bbw dating site largeplace.com. Those big girls discuss where they do clothes shopping. A lot of shopping places can be found here. And it's easy to know what are better.

As a 6ft tall "plus size" girl and a personal shopper I am faced with the task of hunting down and creating fab outfits in sizes 12 and up often for not just clients but myself as well. Although it is not impossible it is certainly not as easy as it should be. The masses also have not fully grasped the idea of plus petite, plus tall, plus average, plus curvy, etc. Plus size garments like all others certainly don't fit everyone identically who happens to wear the same size.

My advice to the plus size women out there is to become best friends with a tailor, your life will change. There is nothing like an outfit that fits you exactly as it should, trust me it makes a difference.

I can't say how happy I am to see this article...I hope you stand by your pledge.

Try www.zafu.com, they have a special section for plus size jeans. They ask you a few questions about yourself and then recommend perfect jeans for you - it's so cool!
