I totally agree with everyone. My vintage shopping is my grandmother’s closet. I love the fit of the dresses and pants; it’s like someone actually took time to make one original piece. Not mass produce it; vintage breathes the premise of fashion.

I agree with the statement about looking in the back of mom’s, even grandma’s closet. Between the two of them I’ve found so many unique and beautiful pieces. People ask me about them, and it’s wonderful to tell the story associated with them.

“As goes for history, fashion trends inevitably repeat themselves.” That is a true statement, since the fashion world has begun oozing out the greats from our 80’s past. I’m noticing a lot of leggings, tights, head bands, wrist bands, colored socks and high topped sneaker combos, and the list goes on. Vintage wear, I would have to say isn’t very high on my list when considering fashion, but I can appreciate a gander or two at those who rock these fashion pieces and rock them well. Very good article, and informative too.
