Ella Brown Couture
Relying on her business savvy and keen fashion instincts Adefunke Adegbola has built a burgeoning empire known as Ella Brown Couture. Adefunke’s dreams of couture began as a young girl in Nigeria. “I’ve always been fashion obsessed and wanted to be a fashion designer, states Adegbola, “I will cut, snip, sew and tack anything that came my way. My mother is one of my biggest inspirations, she is such a creative/ crafty individual and there is always a very nice touch that shows her personal style”
Now based in Los Angeles, Adefunke devotes her talents to crafting classic and elegant pieces that are feminine and figure flattering, “I love working with fabrics that compliments a woman’s anatomy”. Materials like fine silks, Italian made tulle lace, and chiffon are used to carry out the French baroque theme on which her most recent collection is based with the addition of Swarovski crystals, rosettes, and gemstone embellishments for the ultra-luxe cherry on top. Ella Brown couture is definitely made with the woman who appreciates the finer things in life in mind.
What can we expect next from Ella Brown Couture? Look for the brand to launch a line of cosmetics and fragrance in spring of nest year with its first flagship store in Lagos, Nigeria.
