This is so much of a confirmation for me. It seems like we have all been dealing with the same guy – lol.
@ Loudpen and Carmen – the exact same thing has been going on with me.

I think too often we make excuses for brothers – when grown men ought to know what they want and quit trying to have the best of both worlds.
This article was right on time for me – This stops my mind from being soooo boggled.

This is SO true! I am going through this right now with a man who in one breath says he wants to be friends, but in the other breath talks constantly about how he wants to get married and have kids. I have come to the conclusion that “just friends” is code for I want you, but I want the option of dating Tanisha, Becky, and whoever else I want. This doesn’t work for me, I’m too old for the games, so it’s definitely time for me to move on. Thanks for making the light bulb moment even clearer!

This is very true. Thanks so much for sharing this wisdom because lots of beautiful fabulous women get emotionally involved with men who are not ever going to commit. As women we have to make the decision to draw clear lines with men so that we do not get hurt after acting life wifey in order to win over a man who will never put a ring on it. If he says he wants to be friends, then no ….he doesn’t get the perks that come with being in a committed relationship!
