Excellent! I forwarded this article to friends and family. Far too often, we allow the men in our lives to not go to the doctor or to go brood alone or just “deal with it” how they see fit. hi kevin. i doubt if you remember me, but back in 1990 you taught at a preschool in newark, on clinton ave. you were my son teacher. he’s now 21. i just want to commend you on your success. i heard you this afternoon on wendy williams, talking about abuse and you running for council in 2008. i wish you the best of luck and keep up the good work.

This is powerful stuff!I am not a black male, but I can really appreciate this article, especially during this holiday season when things are so chaotic! Less sleep+running on fumes+ stressing over work deadlines= drained emotionally and physically! Thank you Mr. Powell for reminding us to take care of ourselves!
