Latoya, excellent interview! You nailed some key points here. I love that you began with “What do you think are the most damaging messages that women receive about money?” That is indeed critical. I’m one of those women who didn’t start saving until my 30s and didn’t become net-positive until 32. I wish I hadn’t thought it was cool to toss aside the biz section before that!

OMG, I <3 Suze Orman!!!! Even though most of what she says is so basic, so many people don’t get it! This interview came at the right time–right at the beginning of a recession! Suze is on point!!!

I am proud of this magazine!!! This was a great article, a great interview, informative and very much needed. Suze is always honest, and she articulates very clearly why women still lack basic financial acumen…we need to encourage everyone around us to be more aware what happnes to our money when we don’t care to pay attention. Latoya asked the hard questions and I have benefitted from the answers. Thanks Clutch for this article.
