This summer, Lancôme introduced Brazilian Earth Colors by Daria Werbowy. Created by supermodel and Lancôme spokesmodel Daria Werbowy, the collection includes a lipstick, lip gloss and eyeshadow quartet. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Centro Espacial Vik Muniz, a charity founded by Brazilian-born, Brooklyn-based artist Vik Muniz that supports arts education programs for young, at-risk adults in Rio de Janeiro.
The project came about after Daria visited one of the Centro Espacial programs as part of a trip to Brazil. Moved by what she saw, she approached the Lancôme team about creating products that could be sold to benefit Centro Espacial. A fan of neutral shades, Daria was inspired by some of the beautiful earth tones she saw in Brazil and made them the heart of her first makeup collection.
In the U.S., Brazilian Earth Colors by Daria Werbowy will be available exclusively at Sephora, the Lancôme boutiques and lancome-usa.com. The collection includes: (1) Color Fever Gloss in Nude Prainha, $24.00, (2) Color Fever Lipstick in Beige Caracaï, $26.00, , and (3) Color Design Eye Shadow Quad in Carnet de Velours, $45.00.
