wow the evolution of beyonce’…..you know what im not even going to lie I like the video. Its very interesting the way things were played out and how many of us wish we could be a “boy” for a day because that is really someone’s relationship. Its funny because at work we had a huge discussion about cheating and of course the men said that “what she dont know wont hurt her” while many of the women were like how could you do something like that and go home to someone who you call “good” for you.
I think this will be very popular because so many women can relate. I was watching it thinking to myself, “Damn, I was just in that a year or two ago…that same shit”. I can even remember thinking the same thing, if only we could trade places so I could show him how he makes me feel. Beautiful song, beautiful video, great job Beyonce.
WOW!!!! I truly enjoy this song, the video. I kinda teared up for a second there. It is deep and powerful. Amazing. I swear she has so many haters, but this type of artistry is a great example of how minute that negativity is in her world.
Ok, I admit it. I didn’t want to like the video or the song and tried really really hard not to (LOL). But Danni is so right. I (blush) have been on both sides of the situation and, at some point, I was completely swept up in the video nodding in solidarity and having a few flashbacks. I will say that it is a nice departure for Mrs. Carter and highlights more of her vocal assets rather than her…other asset
I love this song and video!!! Its refreshing to see a nice twist on an old situation. Maybe more men will “get it”, and actually listen because its Bey.
It’s nice to see that Bey is willing to do something outside of the booty dance music. This is the depth and creativity that I have been wanting and waiting to hear from her. Please keep it coming.
When I first heard the song I didn’t really understand it. But after having a visual to accompany the song I get it and I can relate to it cause Lord knows…been there and done that too many times. Its great to see Bey mature vocally and personally. Great job!!!
