I downloaded it this morning and seriously... I'm not turning back. I've made it my default browser and Firefox is now my backup. I love it!

What does this mean? What happened on Sat morning/Thur evening?

QUOTE:
Back to the days of Madame Walker, who gave every black woman a reason to get up early Saturday morning (or Thursday evening), onto the Johnson empire that started BET, their creations jump started with a niche

I've had Blackbird for a bit now, and I feel it's just a little duplicitous. It's just a reinterpretation of Mozilla code, not a new browser.

The links are certainly well-culled, but I find the interface cumbersome and a little space-inefficient. Ultimately, I have most of these bookmarked already. If the only difference between Firefox and this is a selection of bookmarks and a clunky starting toolbar, I'd take Firefox or Chrome any day.

It's just not a different browser at all, and doesn't bear any feature differences to justify bundling it as one, or using it over another version. Good job with the links, I'm sure loads of my young Brothers and Sisters will benefit from that grouping of information; especially those new to internet access.

My initial reaction to this browser is - how is this different from google chrome, firefox and ie? At the end of the day, you are still connecting to the internet, still clicking on websites to access your email and daily news, so why not just create a web portal similar to msn or yahoo?

I'm struggling with how this will help me fight virus attacks or if it has nifty applications that I need for what I do. At the end of the day, my take on it is - never despise the days of small beginnings. Hopefully the people who developed this application will take the experiences learned a step further and create actual software applications that will be more meaningful bcos to me, I think this is redundant.

I saw this earlier today. There's no Apple version available yet. I hope it's good, I'd like to see it succeed.
